This past weekend I had a VERY busy Saturday. Several months ago I signed-up for my fist marathon. It was just a 5K but I thought is was a good place to start. The run was for Shun the Sun at Hohokam Stadium in Mesa. About a month after I signed-up for the run the date for the Pecan Creek boutique was announced. I wanted to try to sale cupcakes at the boutique this year so was looking forward to that as well. Turns out the two events were falling on the same day. So that was how my VERY busy Saturday was created.
Over the course of two days I worked to bake and prepare a couple hundred cupcakes. Here is what it looked like the night before the boutique.
The morning of the run {7:00am} My sister Kristi, me, my brother-in-law Aaron and sister Stephanie. Ready to run! {chip time 42:55}
After the run, I stopped at my parent house to trade vehicles, my breaks sounded horrible! Then I headed out to San Tan Valley with cupcakes in tow.
After the boutique, my mom, sisters and I stopped by the Queen Creek Olive Mill for lunch. It was the perfect way to end the craziness!
