Family Camping Trip 2011

Every summer my family travels up the mountain (just outside of Payson) to a special spot we enjoy. I was inspired to take MANY pictures this trip . . . here are some of my favorites. I came home with over 500 photos from the just over 24 hours I was there. So, yes, these are just a FEW!

Kimble loved the hammock. She occupied it the majority of the time.
Baby Jenna Lynn. My sister Steph and Jenna came up with Karl and I, had lunch and drove back with my sister0in-law Amy and her daughter Evelyn.
Parker loves his baby sister and can often be found holding and taking care of her.
McKay . . . What can be said about this smile?
Steph insisted she be in a few photos before for left. She wanted proof she came camping . . . if only for a few hours! This is a great photo of her, Aaron and their newest baby girl.
All the children enjoyed the hammock. It was amazing how many of them could fit in it at one time.
Random picture, I know, but love my little bro Karl . . . what a great smile!
Amy feeding Evelyn. We only saw them for a bit before they headed back down the mountain.
Kimble loved exploring as well and fining interesting things to share with everyone.
Evelyn is getting so big. What a sweet little girl.
Big brother Parker at it again . . . what a wonderful big brother he is!
There were many mushrooms around camp. Sophie was checking this one out with me.
Parker found a mushroom as big as his head!
Here is where we camped. =)
After inflating the air mattresses, Koltyn had a blast jumping and diving on top of them.
Parker fishing and Kolytn throwing rock into the lake . . . his favorite thing to do!
 Lara is a fantastic artist. She was using McKay as her subject. {Don't worry, he has water shoes on.}
Here is a better look at what she is drawing.
Skipping rocks is one of Karl's fortes. It is awesome to watch.
This is the one lonely fish that was caught on this trip to the lake. Better luck next year.
{PS: we put him back even though Kimble REALLY wanted to take him home as her pet!}
Kristi found a BB gun leaning against a tree. CRAZY, but the boys had fun with it anyway.
Love, love, love this pictures of Karter. Only when your four do you think you catch a fish with a net.
Dallin, patiently waiting for a fish to bite.
Mushrooms, I really like mushrooms. Not to eat of course, just to look at. =)
Love this picture of Aaron and Sophie.

The children gathered around my brother-in-law, Aaron, while he cleaned out 3 fish that had been caught earlier in the day on another fishing trip.
 Hanging out at camp.
Love the dirt. . . got to love camping! =)
 Evelyn napping.

 Karter, caught in the mud.
Just a few more from our afternoon fishing trip.

I LOVE seeing the cousins playing together.

 Wildflowers outside camp.
Kimble, refusing to participate in a family activity. True Kimble style!

While waiting for breakfast Sunday morning, Aaron read a few stories to all who wanted to listen. He attracted quite a group.
 A smile from Koltyn . . .
  Sopihe . . .
and Karter.

Another wonderful, quick, camping trip.
PS: Thanks mom and dad for doing all the cooking!
