Spring Decor & Easter Greetings

I had so much fun decorating my hutch to celebrate the spring season. I was also able to do a few new DYI projects as part of the decor.

This Spring sign was made with a cheap silver platter from Goodwill.
A new coat of spray paint and vinyl letter from Hobby Lobby complete the look.
Love it!

I have been saving eggs from my many baking projects over the last month. After carefully cracking a small hole in the shell I cleaned them out and dyed them various colors.

A rummage sale find received a fresh coat of paint and then a little moss. A prefect spot for a group of eater eggs.

I also love Hobby Lobby clearance, this is where I found this frame for 69 cents. With a little paint and a few bunny stickers from Dollar Tree, I created a few bunny frames.

Since I enjoy baking so much I am often assigned to bring a sweet treat to family dinners. Easter Sunday was no different. We were also planning on celebrating my brother-in-laws birthday. He requested a red velvet birthday cake. I made a few cupcakes as well and added fun Easter eggs to tie in the Easter celebration. My sister also requested a carrot cake, it was Easter after all and we all know bunnies love carrots. I came across an inspiration picture that lead to this fun marshmallow bouquet. It was a big hot with all the children. Lastly, I made some yummy and a much healthier option, chocolate meringues. A great way to satisfy a sweet tooth without so many calories.

I hope you all enjoyed your Easter with family and friends!
