Well, it has been awhile since I have posted. I have been reading everyone's blogs and meaning to post myself. I really want to go to bed but am waiting for laundry so thought I would chat with the cyber world for a bit (got to love the time-of-day plan). It is hard to believe it has been two months since my last post. I have been busy working, taking and playing with photos, put an offer on a house and surviving the holidays!

Here are a few of my favorite pics from the past couple months.

This is the house I put an offer on a couple months ago, YES months! It is listed as a short sale which means it takes longer to close the deal. The seller has accepted my offer but I have to wait for the bank to do their thing before I know if I get the house or not. I am trying to be patient but expect the process to last another month or two depending on how many loans are on the house. I cannot tell you how excited I am to move into my own house and make it my home. I have many special projects in mind and will invite anyone willing to help over to do so.

The home is in Chandler across from Chandler Gilbert Community College. Between Gilbert & Cooper and Pecos & the 202.

This is the birthday cake I made for my mom. Lemon cake with lemon meringue frosting and raspberry filling. Yummy!

My first attempt at home made chicken noodle soup from scratch.

These are my favorite shoes . . . Nike Shox!
Of course I have to have a pair to match each outfit. :-)
I often get teased about how many pairs I own so I decided to line them all up and see how many I actually have.
Once I did that it was a photo op waiting to happen!

Here are a few of the many family photos I took this holiday season. These are all family and good friends, they are the most fun to photograph!

This is my brother and sister-in-laws new home. I thought it would be fun to take a picture of them in front of their new home for their Christmas card. I took several shots, moving them around and then merged them all together, it was a fun project.

That pretty much sums up what I have been up to. My next big project at work is transforming our Childrens Center into an art museum to display work done by our children. I will try to post more info. soon but everyone is invited to come check it out. The event will take place Saturday, February 27th, from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Hope to see you there!

Thanks to everyone who updates their blogs often, I really enjoy reading them and seeing what you and your families are up to. I hope this is a great year for everyone as well as myself. I am looking forward to a year full of positive change.

Have a GREAT Year! Don't forget to take time to laugh! :-)
