Well, I vowed to try to keep my blog updated but then life happened! I have been very busy with a huge project at work that has consumed my life. I am excited that I am finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. For the past several months I have been planning the move of the current children's learning center I work in. We are relocating to a facility the company already owns but are in the process of remodeling to make it more child friendly. Needleless to say with the current economic situation our budget shrinks on a daily basis. However, I am determined to see my vision through and create a truly wonderful place for children to play, lean and grow, on a very small budget. So, I have spent the past several weeks putting in a little sweat equity. I can say although I have greatly increased my painting skills I will not be painting again for a LONG time. I am not sure exactly what the square footage of the new building is but it has over 21 rooms, hallways and trim that will get a fresh coat of paint before we move in on the 30th of March. I will post a couple before and during pictures but you will have to check back to see the final product or better yet stop by, I will gladly give you a tour!

Wow! I forgot how scary some of the rooms were. It's sure come a long way. When you open the kids will be in heaven!
